FAIRLY EQUAL: Conversations Toward a Feminist Future is a new web series hosted by legendary feminist lawyer and author Linda Silver Dranoff (“Fairly Equal: Lawyering the Feminist Revolution”), and created by award-winning documentary writers, producers and directors Barri Cohen and Karen Shopsowitz. This timely, urgent and compelling digital web series looks squarely at today’s threats to women’s equality rights which were achieved by decades of feminist activism, and warns that Canadian women cannot take past advances for granted. Our conversations focus on a feminist future grounded in the accomplishments of the past, and seeking ways to expand and entrench them to ensure an egalitarian future.
